4th of July at Lake Tahoe offers guests and residents an opportunity to enjoy fireworks at many locations around the Lake Tahoe basin.

After a 5-year hiatus, fireworks return to Incline Village. Commons Beach in Tahoe City will feature its amazing drone show as a way of protecting the natural environment. From pancake breakfasts to morning parades, 4th of July at Lake Tahoe is the place to be.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION AT COMMONS BEACH

12pm to 10 pm

Guests can enjoy a variety of music and family-friendly activities that include face painting and more. Once it grows dark, watch the largest drone light show over beautiful Lake Tahoe.

TAHOE CITY DRONE SHOW

This groundbreaking drone show will feature 300 drones, above the water and visible from Tahoe City’s shores and boats on the water. This eco-friendly drone show alignis with Sierra stewardship and sustainability efforts.

Prepare to be amazed as the night sky comes alive with dazzling displays. But that’s not all! The celebrations will be packed with activities for everyone to enjoy.

Since parking is limited and driving the one major street through Tahoe City can be bumper to bumper, consider taking the free shuttle. The shuttle runs every 30 minutes until 11:30pm.

DONNER LAKE BEACH CELEBRATION & FIREWORKS

9am to 10pm

Thie celebration offers the community a chance to come together at the West End Beach to enjoy music, games and a BBQ. The festivities culminate with a fire works show over Donner Lake.

Guests mush show a driver license or other proof of being a resident within the district. Entry fee is $20 and must be purchased in advance. The final day to purchase tickets is July 3rd.

Donner Lake is surrounded by mountain roads with views of the lake. If you are not a resident, you can still see the fireworks from the surrounding area.

TRUCKEE 4th OF JULY PARADE

Truckee Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce that plans are underway for the Annual Truckee 4th of July Parade. Truckee’s July 4th parade begins at 10:00 a.m. at the west end of Donner Pass Road at Truckee High School and progresses 1-1/2 miles down the road into historic downtown Truckee.

Spectators can expect a display of creativity and community spirit as the parade features a colorful array of floats, lively performances, and artistic expressions that reflect the unique character of Truckee. It is also Truckee Thursday, so guest can enjoy libations in the shops along Old Town Truckee.

Kick off the Local Heroes Celebration with NLTFD and your community for breakfast before the parade at the main Firehouse on Tanager. The parade begins immediately after breakfast.

After a hiatus of five years, fireworks are back in North Lake Tahoe! Independence Day fireworks will return with an awe-inspiring display over Incline Village & Crystal Bay.

Since the beaches are only open to residents, consider boating to enjoy the show.
