Summer 2021 Activities North Lake Tahoe
Summer is in full swing at Lake Tahoe, and many familiar activities like Farmer’s Market and free music venues have returned to the North Shore.
Beginning on July 15th, once per month, Truckee Thursdays will offer street festival music on July 15th, August 12th and September 9th in 2021. The Truckee Regional Park is also presenting Music in the Park every Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 until August 25th.
The Tahoe City Downtown Association has also been busy organizing many events for the North Shore of Lake Tahoe.
Concerts At Commons Beach
It’s back! Local, regional and national performers are returning to delight Tahoe City audiences every Sunday afternoon this summer. This FREE 7-week concert series begins July 25th through September 5th. Music begins at 4pm and lasts until 7pm. Pack a picnic and enjoy the sunset vibes on the shore of Lake Tahoe. Tahoe City Farmers Market
The Tahoe City Farmers Market has also returned to the Commons Beach parking lot. Shop for flowers, handicrafts, soaps, pastries, meats, fish, fruit and vegetables. The Farmers Market is open on Thursdays from 8am-1pm until Oct 7th 2021. Click for more information.

This summer, the Tahoe Regional Transit for the Tahoe/Incline and Truckee area is launching TART CONNECT. Explore Truckee, North Lake Tahoe, and Incline Village, car-free! The North Lake Tahoe region offers several transportation services to connect you to trails, to beaches, to shopping and dining, on the North Lake Tahoe, in Truckee, and to head to Sand Harbor, and even to Reno.
Starting June 24, 2021 and continuing through Labor Day, TART is launching TART Connect, a micro-transit service that will operate within three zones, including Zone 1: Dollar Point, Tahoe City, Sunnyside, Homewood, and Tahoma; Zone 2: Kings Beach, Brockway and Tahoe Vista; Zone 3: Incline Village and Crystal Bay.
Riders can download the TART Connect app and enjoy free, on-demand, curb-to-curb, shared- shuttle service anywhere within the TART Connect zones. It’s simple – just tap, relax and go! Easily get around and leave the car at home. This service will operate from 8:00 am – Midnight, daily. Yoga & Wheel Lifts Mountain Bike Clinic
Combine yoga and mountain biking for an amazing workout in nature. After a half-hour yoga warm-up, get right into the nitty-gritties of wheel lifts. Designed for beginner riders and experienced riders who’ve had limited coaching, this clinic begins with key fundamental movements, then moves on to a variety of techniques for lifting your front and rear wheels. Mastering wheel lifts allows you to have better control of your suspension and is the foundation for learning jumps and drops. This clinic ends with a guided ride, where you can practice your skills alongside your instructor.
